Homemade and Delicious Fitness Muffins Recipe.

Muffins are delicious, however, nowadays people are trying to have a healthy lifestyle and avoid consuming all bleached flours and sugar.

What about a healthy version of Muffins without flour and sugar? Does it sound tempting? You are going to jump from your sofa to go quickly to your kitchen and make these amazing, healthy and protein Muffins. The best thing about them, is that you can eat as much as you want without feeling guilty.

Ingredients:

  • 100 Grams of Almond flour.
  • 10 Grams of Fibre ( Optional ).
  • 20 Grams of Protein powder.
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking powder.
  • 1 Pinch of salt.
  • 1 Pinch of Cinnamon.
  • 1 Banana ( Better to use an overripe banana ).
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Pure Honey ( Optional ).
  • 2 Whole big eggs.

Preparation:

  1. The first step is to mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, so here you take the almond flour, the fibre, the protein powder, the baking powder, the salt and the cinnamon and you mix with a manual mixer or a table spoon.
  2. Then, in a small plate you cut the banana and you make a purée from it with a fork, you can also buy the banana purée from the supermarket, but it’s better to make it yourself. Like this, you will have a better and even healthier recipe.
  3. When you have the banana purée ready, then you add the honey and you mix. 
  4. When it’s mixed very well, then you add it to the dry ingredients in the bowl, you add the eggs and you mix all together till the mixture becomes homogenous. 
  5. In a muffin mould tray, you put the muffin paper cases, and you brush the papers with a bit of olive oil before you filled them up, leaving one centimetre space on the top.
  6. You cook them for 15 mins in a preheated oven of 180 Cº
  7. You can decorate your muffins with anything you have at home, which it could be crunchy almonds, sugar free jam or chocolate. 

Tip: By using the muffin paper cases you get a well presented muffins, but you can also fill the mould tray directly if you have the silicone one.
